EALD-GAP™ heuristic process

The heuristic process in EALD-GAP™ technology is a disciplined inquiry into lived experience for the purpose of transformation. It moves a person from personal engagement with a real issue to deeper insight, practical integration, and new action in life and leadership.

The six phases

Phase 01

Engagement

The person becomes personally connected to a question, presenting problem, or lived experience that matters deeply. This creates the starting point for inquiry.

Phase 02

Immersion

The person enters the inquiry fully through journaling, coaching, observation, dialogue, and action. Their thoughts, emotions, body sensations, choices, conversations, and results become data.

Phase 03

Incubation

The person allows the inquiry to continue without forcing an immediate answer. Space is created for hidden patterns, defended meanings, and deeper insight to surface.

Phase 04

Illumination

Something previously unseen becomes visible. The person begins to see a gap between what they say they are committed to and how they are actually operating.

Phase 05

Explication

The person carefully examines the insight so it becomes usable. Patterns, assumptions, reactions, BORs, and leadership implications are distinguished.

Phase 06

Creative synthesis

The inquiry is integrated into a new expression, action, conversation, project design, or way of being. The discovery becomes lived change rather than only understanding.
